This experiential workshop is designed specifically for PhD students of all genders in STEM, who want to better understand and overcome imposter syndrome, strengthen self-confidence, and develop tools for navigating pressure in academic and research environments.

Many high-achieving doctoral candidates silently struggle with self-doubt, perfectionism, and fear of being exposed as a “fraud”—despite clear evidence of their capabilities. This workshop addresses the psychological and emotional dynamics behind imposter syndrome and offers practical strategies for managing it. Drawing from transformational coaching, Cognitive Behavioral Coaching, and theater-based techniques, this active and reflective workshop helps participants shift unhelpful inner narratives, connect with their values, and build embodied tools for confidence and composure in demanding academic contexts and high-pressure situations.
