BMS Professors

The BMS professorship is offered to guest lecturers with high international visibility. During their stay the BMS professors give the BMS semester lectures, a distinguished course in their research area.

BMS Substitute Professors

The BMS sponsors three BMS Substitute Professors, one at each university. These positions carry a regular teaching load, and thus partially replace some of the BMS Faculty in their basic teaching duties so that these scientists are free to teach BMS Advanced Courses. These Substitute Professorships are generally offered to excellent young external researchers for a period of two semesters.
