Two days seminar on 19 and 20 January 2024 (Friday and Saturday, 10:00 am - 5:30pm)
Trainer: Konstanze Bittmann, bonadea coaching
A lot of PhD holders/ graduates and some postdocs want to transition into careers outside of academia but rarely take the time to reflect on what kind of work they actually enjoy, and what their values, interests and goals in life are. To be successful in the job hunt it is essential to know what you bring to the table as well as being able to sell yourself. During this seminar, you will put together a coaching profile by analyzing your unique skills, competencies as well as your values, interests, career & life goals. We will discuss how you can sell yourself well in your application papers or job interviews, and look into your next best steps in your personal career planning.
Through pre-course spreadsheets before the workshop you will come already prepared and with the right mindset to work in depth on rounding up your career coaching profile during the 2-day class. Trainer input, self-study, tandem exercises, peer coaching and plenum discussions will offer a high paced, fun work environment and ensure that everyone will gain personal insights from attending this workshop.
