How to get there:

If your hotel is very near, you might consider going by foot, otherwise using the local public transport is the best option. We recommend using busses and the subway lines to get to the venue. Good choices are e.g. taking the U2 to Hausvogteiplatz, the U6 to Französische Strasse, or the Bus 100 to Staatsoper, or the S-Bahn to Friedrichstrasse, all which are within 10 minute walking distance.

There has been a special S-Bahn situation in Berlin, but most of the lines are running again fairly normally.

Here a short fare overview:
•    Normal tickets: (in the A,B zone) cost 2,10 € and are valid one way for 2 hours
•    Short trip ticket: If you are traveling only three U-Bahn (underground railway) stations or no more than six bus or tram stops, without changing, 1,30 €.
•    A day pass: (in the A,B zone) costs 6,10 €
•    A 7-day pass: (in the A,B zone) costs 26,20 €
